Job summary

Park Lawn in Colorado is seeking a licensed Funeral Director to lead services with compassion and professionalism, ensuring every family encounter is respectful and fitting for their loved one. You will coordinate visitations, prepare the deceased, and supervise staff to deliver seamless ceremonies.

The role requires a four-year degree or equivalent, plus a valid Funeral Director license and strong English communication.

Qualifications

Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience preferred.
Minimum two years of experience as a licensed Funeral Director.
Valid state Funeral Director License in good standing and driving record.

Responsibilities

Consult with client families to create services that meet end‑of‑life memorialization expectations.
Present merchandising and service options to client families.
Obtain information for obituaries, death certificates, burial permits and insurance.
Coordinate all service arrangements with clergy, organizations and participants.
Plan, schedule and conduct visitations and services.
Oversee staff during services and ensure professional representation of the location.
Prepare the deceased, including dressing and casketing.
Direct and usher families to and from the service location.
