Job summary

Service Corporation International is looking for an experienced Funeral Director to lead arrangements conferences, preside over services, and ensure compliance with mortuary regulations. You will interact closely with families, coordinate with teams, and oversee merchandise and cemetery property discussions, while maintaining the highest standard of care.

The role requires current licensure, a Mortuary Science degree, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school or college of mortuary science.
• Current Funeral Director license in the practicing state.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and conduct funeral services with families and preside as MC as needed.
• Coordinate arrangements conference and present cemetery property and merchandise options.
• Manage removals/transfers per company standards and ensure respectful handling of deceased.
• Communicate with families empathetically and obtain vital information for arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and internal policies.
