Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Funeral Director to serve families with compassionate, personalized care during their time of loss. You will mentor and lead funeral professionals to deliver an exceptional level of service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include client meetings to arrange services, embalming, documentation, directing services, and coordinating permits and paperwork. A valid funeral director license and state credentials are required, with flexibility for holidays and

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed funeral director, with ability to obtain state license if required.
• 2 years of post-secondary education or equivalent in mortuary science.
• Strong concentration and attention for extended periods.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for empathic customer care.
• Ability to lead a team and collaborate with others.
• Must hold a valid state driverfense.
• Ability to work holidays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to arrange funerals, explain options, assist in selecting caskets, and prepare contracts.
• Perform embalming services and related technical tasks.
• Finalize arrangements with required documentation and compliance.
• Direct funeral services and visitation, coordinating pallbearers and clergy as needed.
• Coordinate permits, death certificates, and related documents for ceremonies.
