Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• No prior work experience required; funeral industry experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions given over the phone or in person; good communication and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare casket and deceased for visitation or funeral services; dress, adjust clothing, transport casket.
• Set up and clean rooms for services; arrange chairs, tables, flowers, guest books, keepsakes.
• Greet visitors, provide programs, answer questions, and share funeral service information.
• May serve as pallbearer and drive families to cemetery site.
• After services, handle removal, cleaning, and storage of items; package and deliver mementos.
