Job summary

Foundation Partners Group is seeking a Funeral Attendant to support viewings, services, and transfer of remains. You will assist funeral directors, greet guests with compassion, and help move caskets and related items as part of a respectful service environment.

This role requires weekend/evening/on-call availability, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. A valid driver’s license with a clean record is required to operate vehicles within the funeral procession.

Responsibilities

• Assists the funeral director with a variety of tasks during funerals and visitations to ensure that services run smoothly
• Maintains a friendly attitude while offering assistance and guidance to all persons entering the location
• Assists in the movement of the casketed deceased and other related items in and out of visitation area funeral home chapel, church, or other places of service
• Drives the hearse, family limousine, or other vehicles in the funeral cortege and other funeral related activities
