Job summary

MorningStar of Idaho Falls is seeking a friendly receptionist to greet visitors, answer calls, and manage mail and general correspondence. You will support the front desk with a welcoming, organized presence in a senior living community.

The role emphasizes compassionate service, adherence to resident rights, and collaboration with staff to ensure smooth daily operations while upholding core MorningStar values.

Qualifications

• At least one year front desk/reception experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Typing and use of telephone systems.
• Friendly, courteous, patient, and able to work with residents, staff, and families.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and family members and provide non-confidential information requested.
• Answer the telephone promptly using the appropriate greeting for the community.
• Sort mail and distribute to appropriate departments.
• Type and file correspondence and other information as needed.
• Adhere to and interpret resident rights and personnel policies.
• Use of computers, calculators, copy machines, postage machines, etc.
• Escort people to resident suites and other areas.
• Demonstrate core values: Love, Kindness, Honesty, Goodness, Fairness, Respect.
