Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living of Idaho Falls is seeking a Dining Room Server to join our memory care team. This full-time role offers a Sunday–Tuesday 7:00 AM–6:00 PM schedule and a Wednesday 7:00 AM–1:00 PM shift.

• Provide service of high-quality meals and facilitation of a gracious environment.
• Accurate communication and order taking.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Be present in dining room for full meal service.
• Assist special functions as scheduled.
• Maintain high cleanliness, hygiene, and a sanitary environment at all times.
• Oversee dining areas – presentation, cleanliness, and stock when directed.
• Know daily specials and how they are prepared and presented.
• Learn individual resident names, dietary needs, requests, likes and dislikes.
• Serve hot food hot and cold food cold.
• Attend trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings.
