Job summary

Holbrooklife is seeking a Server EL/IL to provide meal service to residents, ensuring dignity, patience, and hospitality. Responsibilities include preparing dining areas, serving meals accurately, and supporting residents' dining preferences.

The ideal candidate will have prior hospitality experience, effective communication skills, and a compassionate attitude towards older adults. Flexibility in scheduling is important as well.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age unless otherwise permitted by law and company policy.
• Food Handler certification preferred or required by local regulation.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining room and service areas before meals.
• Greet residents warmly and provide respectful service.
• Serve meals accurately and timely while monitoring satisfaction.
• Clear, reset and clean tables, service stations and dining areas.

Skills

Previous serving, hospitality or senior living experience

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English effectively

Patience, compassion and positive attitude

Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
