Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist uninsured and underinsured patients with financial assistance programs, including Medicaid, CICP, Hospital Discounted Care, and charity care.
• Help patients understand potential financial responsibility and provide estimates for applicable charges.
• Maintain timely communication and effective working relationships with patients, providers, coworkers, and community partners.
• Process, scan, and document information received through phone, email, fax, and other systems while maintaining accurate records.
• Cross-train and provide backup support within Patient Financial Services and Patient Access, along with other duties as assigned.
