Job summary

Legacy Funeral Group is seeking a Family Service Counselor to advise bereaved families on burial arrangements with empathy and professionalism. You will protect client confidentiality and support families through the loss, leveraging counseling expertise to ease the process.

Essential duties include in-home sales, group presentations, and building a pipeline through referrals. A high school diploma or GED and strong communication skills are required; experience in funeral or life insurance sales

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong sales experience in Funeral or Life Insurance preferred.
• Comfort using computer systems in a sales environment.
• CRM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to bereaved families and help arrange burial services.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and communicate empathetically.
• Engage in in-home sales and conduct group presentations.
• Build leads, schedule appointments, and work toward sales goals.
