The position emphasizes empathy, organization, and clear communication with clients during upsetting times. The role supports the Intake Team, processes mail, logs documents, and provides backup reception coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in a legal, medical, insurance, customer service, or client intake environment preferred.
• Law firm experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with a professional and compassionate phone presence.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment, with the ability to apply guidelines consistently.
• Comfortable working within a structured call format while still gathering complete and accurate information.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured case evaluation calls with prospective estate administration clients to gather key information.
• Apply firm intake criteria to determine whether prospective matters suit the firm.
• Identify cases outside the firm’s practice areas and decline or redirect appropriately.
• Document call findings in Lawmatics and Clio for attorneys.
• Communicate warmly and professionally with prospective clients navigating loss.
• Receive, sort, and process incoming firm mail daily.
