Job summary

GBMC HealthCare in Towson, MD seeks caregivers with EMT/CRT/Paramedic training to support ED admissions. You will handle triage, vitals, and essential procedures under RN/MD supervision while maintaining a compassionate patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities include patient transport, data entry in the EHR, routine blood draws, and assisting with care coordination in a fast-paced ED environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited EMT, CRT, or Paramedic program.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Complete triage documentation including vitals and emergency procedures.
• Perform blood glucose testing, IV insertion, and EKGs as directed by RN/MD.
• Enter procedures and vitals into EHR; monitor patient flow and notify RN/MD of changes.
• Assist with transport of patients and stocking of treatment areas.
• Provide family support and maintain a clean, ready treatment environment.
