Baystate Noble Hospital in Westfield, MA is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the Emergency Department team. This role supports safe, age-appropriate care, assists with daily living activities, monitors vital signs, and collaborates with nurses and physicians to deliver compassionate patient care.

The position is per diem with day shifts and every-other weekend, offering opportunities to gain hands-on clinical experience in a community hospital setting within the Baystate Health system.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• BLS CPR Certification through American Heart Association is required.
• At least one year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with treatments, dressings, specimen collection, and procedures.
• Provide one-to-one patient observation as needed and respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the care team with clear documentation.
