Job summary

East Medical Transport LLC in Fort Mill, SC is seeking a dedicated EMT to join our growing non-emergency transport team. You will transport patients safely to facilities and appointments, assist with loading and unloading, and document care and transport details.

Requirements include EMT certification in SC, a valid driver's license with clean record, CPR/BLS, and the ability to lift patients. Flexible shifts, including some weekends, and drug testing are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Current EMT certification (EMT-Basic or higher) in the state of South Carolina.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Prior experience in medical transport, EMS, or a related healthcare field preferred.
• Strong patient care skills with a calm, professional, and empathetic demeanor.
• Ability to lift and assist patients, including physical demands of the role.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts (day) including some weekends+.
• Must be able to pass drug test on hire and thereafter randomly.
• Professional attire and good personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities, appointments, and care centers.
• Operate ambulance or transport vehicle in compliance with traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Assist patients with loading, unloading, and transferring using stretchers.
• Document patient information, care provided, and transport details accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness, stocking, and readiness of transport vehicles and medical equipment.
• Communicate effectively with other teammates and facility personnel.
