Job summary

VitalLink EMS LLC in Dillon, South Carolina, is seeking a part-time EMT for Non‑Emergency Transport. You will provide safe, compassionate basic medical care and transport for scheduled or non‑emergency cases, operating within SC scope of practice and company protocols.

You will perform patient assessment, documentation, and communication with care teams, while ensuring vehicle readiness, infection control, and professional customer service. Prior experience in EMS is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current SC EMT certification (or eligible) required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (AHA or equivalent) required.
• Valid SC driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients and equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Non-Emergency Patient Transport: Safely operate an ambulance per policy and SC traffic laws and transport patients to/from hospitals and facilities.
• Patient Assessment & Basic Care: Obtain basic history and vitals, provide BLS if needed, monitor patient status.
• Documentation & Communication: Complete accurate patient care reports and communicate with dispatch and facilities.
• Safety, Compliance & Vehicle Readiness: Perform daily vehicle checks, maintain clean environment, follow infection control and HIPAA regulations.
• Customer Service & Professionalism: Provide courteous, compassionate care and maintain professional appearance and conduct.
