Job summary

Ottumwa Regional Health Center, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our PRN team in Ottumwa, IA. You’ll support ED operations and provide timely care to patients from triage to disposition.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to EMS scope of practice, and collaboration with ED physicians and nurses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current Iowa Class D driver's license and EMT certification.
• Current BCLS certification; valid MVR required.

Responsibilities

• Assist ED staff from triage to discharge under supervision.
• Perform EMS duties within scope and transport patients as needed.
• Participate in QA, staff meetings, and training.
