Job summary

Lynx EMS in Cincinnati is seeking an EMT to provide both emergency and non-emergency medical transport across the region. This role supports hospital discharges, interfacility transfers, and emergency responses, delivering safe, compassionate patient care with professionalism.

You will operate the ambulance, perform patient assessments, and document accurately while keeping the unit ready. Must have EMT certification and a valid driver’s license; teamwork and reliability are essential for

Qualifications

Current State EMT Certification (or reciprocity eligible).
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills.
Professional demeanor with excellent communication abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Commitment to reliability and punctuality for scheduled day shifts.

Responsibilities

Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls promptly and professionally.
Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in accordance with state and company protocols.
Safely operate and maintain assigned ambulance and equipment.
Conduct thorough patient assessments and accurate documentation; ensure ambulance unit is clean, stocked, and deployment-ready.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, healthcare facilities, and team members.
Uphold safety standards and compliance regulations.
