Job summary

Lynx EMS in Shelby, OH is seeking dependable PRN NEMT Drivers / EMT Assistants to support our transport operations on an as-needed basis. You will assist with scheduled patient transports, hospital discharges, dialysis appointments, and interfacility transfers while delivering excellent customer service and patient care.

This role offers hands-on healthcare experience with a supportive team and opportunities for growth within EMS. EMT certification is not required to start.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Clean background check.
Ability to lift up to 150 lbs. and perform physical duties.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, professional, and compassionate.

Responsibilities

Assist with safe, non-emergency patient transportation.
Safely load, secure, and transport patients using stretchers, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and safety throughout transport.
Complete required documentation accurately.
Keep vehicles clean, stocked, and inspection-ready.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, patients, and healthcare facilities.
Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
