Job summary

Elitehomecaresc is seeking a Transportation Specialist to safely move Members/Riders to Elite’s Day Centers and medical appointments, prioritizing courteous service and policy compliance. Daily vehicle checks and grooming of vehicles are required to maintain safety and comfort for riders.

You will support mobility needs of older adults and individuals with special care requirements while upholding high standards of professionalism.

Qualifications

• Experience transporting people including those with mobility needs (wheelchair transport preferred).
• Must have a clean driving record.
• DOT Physical health requirements.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with older adults and specialized care needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport members/riders to day centers and medical appointments daily.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report maintenance needs to ensure safety.
• Provide a high level of customer service to riders and responsible parties during pickups and drop-offs.
• Keep vehicles clean and fueled and ready for use.
