Job summary

Miami Jewish Health is seeking a Driver to provide off-campus transportation for residents, tenants, and clients. You will shuttle between the community, MJH satellite facilities, and medical appointments, ensuring safety and courtesy.

The role requires a valid Florida CDL with passenger endorsement preferred, a clean driving record, and the ability to assist elderly or disabled passengers. You must pass a driving background check, adhere to safety policies, and excel in communication.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Dade County streets.
• Ability to deal with elderly and/or disabled passengers.
• Must attend and pass safety driving program annually.
• Ability to operate vehicles to assist disabled persons.

Responsibilities

• Transports persons to and from MJH and other locations.
• Assists passengers on and off the van safely; handles medical equipment and emergencies.
• Keeps vehicles in good condition and clean; reports maintenance needs.
• Maintains passenger logs and related documentation.
• Performs courier and banking tasks as needed.
• Follows all safety policies at all times.
• Participates in Multidisciplinary Team meetings and trainings.
