Job summary

Miami Jewish Health is seeking a Driver to provide off-campus transportation for residents and clients, including those in wheelchairs. You will shuttle clients to MJH facilities, doctors, and clinics with a focus on safety and compassionate service.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma (preferred), CDL with passenger endorsement (preferred), and experience with elderly or disabled passengers. Competitive benefits and a stable work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years’ experience driving passenger bus or larger (wheelchair accessible preferred).
• One-year experience transporting elderly and/or disabled passengers.
• Current Florida CDL Class A/B/C with passenger endorsement preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports residents, tenants, and clients to MJH facilities and clinics.
• Assists passengers on and off the van, ensuring safety and courtesy.
• Maintains vehicles in standard working condition and reports maintenance needs.
• Keeps passenger logs and related documentation accurate and up-to-date.
• Performs courier and banking functions as needed.
• Follows all department safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Participates in Multidisciplinary Team meetings and in-services as required.
