Job summary

The SR Companies is seeking dedicated caregivers to support residents with daily living activities in a compassionate, respectful environment. You will assist with dressing, grooming, hygiene, meal service, and light housekeeping while encouraging resident independence.

You will interact with residents, families, visitors, and associates with empathy and professionalism, reporting changes to your supervisor and participating in required trainings. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to provide care with empathy and respect.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, grooming, peri-care, toileting and hygiene.
• Serve residents in dining rooms for meals and participate in activities as per calendar.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment; report changes to supervisor.
• Provide support with light housekeeping and laundry to promote independence.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
