Job summary

StoryPoint of Northville is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide personalized assistance for residents in our community. You will assist with bathing, dining, mobility, medication reminders, and daily routines while upholding safety and dignity.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or GED, experience in healthcare or geriatric care, and CNA/MA certification is a plus. This on-site role includes comprehensive benefits and ongoing training to support excellent resident care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Healthcare or geriatrics experience preferred.
• CNA or MA certification preferred.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports our culture – our pillars and 1440.
• Complete daily/weekly tasks as assigned by the Wellness Coordinator.
• Provide compassionate and competent care for residents: Bathing, showering and grooming assistance; Assist with dining; Provide wheelchair and walking escorts; Toileting and light incontinence care; Morning and bedtime routines; Light room upkeep; Respond to resident call signals; Medication assistance.
• Complete and document records in logs and forms.
• Work scheduled shifts and assist others as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.
• Abide by all company policies and procedures.
• Communicate concerns to the appropriate person.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Stay up to date with departmental communications.
