Job summary

StoryPoint East Lansing is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide compassionate, personalized assistance to residents in our community. You will support daily living activities, promote wellbeing, and collaborate with the Wellness team to meet residents’ needs.

Qualified candidates may have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred healthcare/geriatric experience and CNA/MA certification. The role involves lifting up to 25 pounds and requires strong communication and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Healthcare or eldercare experience preferred.
• CNA or MA certification preferred.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Lift up to 25 pounds optional requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, and personal care.
• Help residents with dining and mobility assistance (wheelchair/walking Escorts).
• Provide toileting and incontinence care support.
• Assist with morning and bedtime routines and light room upkeep.
• Record and communicate care activities and changes to Wellness Leader.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in staff meetings.
