Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Caregiver to provide routine daily care to residents in our community in Oregon. You will help with activities of daily living, transfers, and social participation while upholding dignity and respect per the care plan.

Responsibilities include timely communication of any changes in condition, adherence to infection control, and following safety protocols. Prior experience in home care or long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.
• Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds and assisting residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plan.
• Assist with transferring residents safely between bed, chair, and wheelchair.
• Communicate observations or changes in condition to supervisor promptly.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and social events.
• Respond promptly to resident requests for care and assistance.
• Follow infection control practices and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
• Complete scheduled checks to ensure personal care needs are met.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.
