Job summary

myPlace Health is hiring for a Personal Care Attendant / CNA to provide compassionate daily care to older adults across center, clinic, and home settings. You will support personal care, meals, and transportation, while coordinating with families and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and dignity.

The role emphasizes warmth, reliability, and flexible home visits when needed, with CPR/First Aid certification required or obtainable within 60 days.

Qualifications

• You are passionate about caring for older adults and committed to high-risk seniors with complex needs.
• CPR and First Aid certified or willing to complete within 60 days of starting.
• CNA or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred but not required; heart and experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Offer compassionate daily care, including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, laundry, and meals at center, clinic, or home.
• Be a friendly companion and guide, helping participants in/out of transportation and to appointments.
• Support mealtimes and assist those who need help eating with patience and respect.
• Provide gentle physical assistance to keep participants safe and comfortable throughout the day.
• Assist with meal delivery and help create a welcoming dining experience.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the care team.
• Keep personal care supplies stocked and organized for ready access.
• Follow directions from the interdisciplinary team and communicate clearly with participants and families.
• Be a flexible team player, stepping in where needed to ensure the best care.

Education

CNA or PCA experience preferred
