Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in York. In this part-time role, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use challenges.

Your responsibilities will include assisting individuals in their daily needs, implementing support services, and fostering positive relationships. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required, along with a starting wage of $18/hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual, developmental, mental health or substance use needs.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical ability to lift 30 lb regularly, lift up to 70 lb, pull up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in identifying and communicating requests and needs for services.
• Implement services and supports to address goals identified in the Centered Plan.
• Teach and reinforce independent living skills.
