Job summary

Independent Beginnings in Dayton, OH is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate care for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily activities, personal care, meals, and transport to activities, working closely with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to communicate in English, including written skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily activities including personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities as needed.
• Work with a team, clients' families and medical professionals to promote independence.
