Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently in their communities.

This role offers flexible schedules, weekly pay, paid onboarding and training, and opportunities for advancement. A $1,000 signing bonus is paid in installments after averaging 20+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass background checks.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required depending on client needs.
• Experience with disabilities not required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal prep, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and case managers as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
