Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will work one-on-one following each person’s ISP to promote independence and daily living success.

The role offers flexible hours and local NJ cases, with opportunities to grow within a DDD-focused agency. Applicants must be 18+, with a HS diploma or GED preferred, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Compassionate and motivated to help others.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care and meal preparation.
• Support independence and community participation per each ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful relationships with individuals served.
