Job summary

ASG Home Care is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey. You will work one-on-one with clients following their ISP, promoting independence and daily living skills.

This role offers flexible hours, in-home and community settings, and opportunities for growth within a DDD-focused agency. Compensation ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, based on experience and case assignments.

Qualifications

• Be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving/DSP experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain on hire.
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to help others.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meals, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation per ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with those you support.
