Job summary

ASG Home Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey. You will provide one-on-one support, helping with daily living activities while following each person's ISP.

Qualifications

• Patient-facing caregiving experience or willingness to obtain relevant certifications
• Excellent communication and active listening skills
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to follow Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and document activities accurately

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meals, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation per the ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
