Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities across New Jersey. You will work one-on-one, following each person’s ISP, to promote independence and daily living success.

You will provide hands-on support in home and community settings, documenting services and communicating with the care team. Join a DDD-focused agency with consistent hours and a supportive onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
