Job summary

WellLife Network seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide hands-on care and advocacy for adults with developmental disabilities in New York. You will assist with daily living, health routines, and community engagement, while promoting independence and dignity.

You’ll work closely with families, providers, and a multidisciplinary team to plan activities, document progress, and support clients in achieving their goals. Competitive benefits and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency required.
• Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs is preferred.
• Fluent English for client communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care, encouragement, and advocacy for individuals supported.
• Assist with daily living activities and community integration.
• Plan and participate in recreational, educational, and social activities.
• Maintain accurate records including daily notes and reports.
