Job summary

LEL Home Services, LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Indiana to provide hands-on care to Individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will implement ISP plans, document daily activities, and support independence in the individual's home and community.

The role requires compassionate, reliable individuals who can work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours, and who meet DSP requirements and background checks.

Qualifications

• Meets all Direct Support Professional Requirements and background checks.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and flexible hours.
• Commitment to serving individuals with disabilities and families.

Responsibilities

• Implement services outlined in ISP for assigned individuals.
• Submit timely documentation of daily activities and progress.
• Report late arrivals or absences to Program Manager.
• Provide support in activities of daily living as needed.
• Escort and supervise individuals during leisure activities and community outings.
• Transport individuals in the DSP's vehicle when required.
• Maintain a safe environment and respect the individual’s residence and family culture.
• Attend mandated trainings and keep current with policy updates.
