Job summary

Kintegra Health is seeking a Driver in the Senior TLC Transportation department to transport frail elderly participants. The role requires teamwork with caregivers and community agencies, and involves operating handicap-accessible vehicles for door-to-door service.

The driver must be at least 18 years old with at least 1 year of relevant experience, hold a valid NC driver’s license, and maintain up-to-date immunizations and medical clearance for contact with participants.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with the frail elderly population.
• Valid NC Driver's License with good driving record and no major moving violations.
• Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date before engaging in direct participant contact.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with participants, families, staff and other agencies and departments.
• Drive all variety of vehicles in the organization’s transportation fleet, including wheelchair lifts and tie-down equipment.
• Deliver physically limited persons to appointments and ensure timely arrival; operate safety equipment properly.
