Job summary

The Downsizers, a leading senior relocation and estate liquidation company serving the Triangle, seeks a Downsizing Specialist/Mover. This hybrid role blends hands-on client-facing downsizing support with the physical demands of moving projects, requiring organization, care, and clear communication with clients.

You will help clients sort, pack, transport, and place belongings, follow Move Plans, and work with the team to ensure a calm, respectful experience for seniors and families we serve.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Fluent English communication.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and navigate stairs.
• Willing to work 3+ days per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist with downsizing planning and on-site execution.
• Pack, load, transport, and settle belongings.
• Provide compassionate client service and decision support.
• Drive company vehicles and maintain equipment.
• Document project details and report issues.
• Support onboarding and teamwork.
