Job summary

CRi - Community Residences, Inc. is looking for a Direct Support Professional II in Northern Virginia to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live meaningful and independent lives. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, providing direct support based on care plans, and advocating for individuals in the community. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills. Qualifications

• 2 years of hands-on experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Familiarity with the Person-Centered Planning process.
• Ability to manage household tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor staff during shifts.
• Provide direct support based on personalized care plans.
• Advocate for individuals at appointments and in the community.
• Ensure accurate documentation and progress tracking.
