Job summary

Sevita REM Community Services is seeking a dedicated caregiver to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community settings. You’ll assist with daily living, personal hygiene, and participation in activities to promote independence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Must be patient, compassionate, reliable and responsible.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
• Support participants in community activities and preferred pastimes.
• Help participants set and pursue developmental goals like budgeting, exercise and nutrition.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
