Job summary

Sevita is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential settings. You will provide social and health support, help with daily living activities, document progress, and ensure safety and dignity in all interactions.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+ age, and the ability to work in a team with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support: provide assistance per service plans including socialization, health maintenance, medication administration, and daily living skills.
• Records: document progress and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintenance of individuals’ assets: assist with purchases within budget and preference.
• Workplace safety and teamwork: comply with safety policies and collaborate with team.
