Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is hiring compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with developmental disabilities throughout Hunterdon County, New Jersey. DSPs work one-to-one with individuals in their homes and communities, helping them build independence, confidence, relationships, and a fulfilling daily life.

This role is person-centered, with companionship, skill-building, and transportation support when authorized.

Qualifications

• Experience with adults with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to follow individualized instructions and complete documentation.
• Background checks and required training completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful one-to-one support at home and in the community.
• Help individuals participate in meaningful activities and social opportunities.
• Teach daily living, communication, social, safety, and independence skills.
• Encourage self-advocacy, community inclusion, and healthy relationships.
• Assist with routines and activities of daily living as needed.
• Follow plan instructions, maintain health and safety, report concerns.
• Complete service documentation accurately and on time.
• Clock in/out and maintain dependable attendance and communication.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
