Job summary

Serenity, LLC is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across all 21 New Jersey counties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass required background checks and DDD screenings.

Responsibilities

• Support community activities, appointments, errands, and social opportunities.
• Teach daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and shopping.
• Assist with personal care and medication reminders as authorized.
• Provide safe transportation.
• Follow individualized service plans and person-centered goals.
• Complete timely service notes and required documentation.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice, and self-advocacy.
