Caring Hearts Home in Daly City, CA is seeking calm, compassionate Direct Support Professionals to care for adults with developmental disabilities in a small, 6-client home. This role offers a live-in opportunity (30-day trial; Wed-Sun schedule) with potential overnight duties and a requirement for background checks, First Aid, and DSP 1 certification.

Applicants must have high school or equivalent, basic English literacy, and be able to read/write simple documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• First Aid certificate mandatory.
• DSP 1 certification preferred or willing to obtain within 1 year.
• Must read/write basic documentation and use simple computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities, personal care, hygiene, and mobility.
• Administer or supervise medications per guidelines and training.
• Maintain daily records of activities and observations.
• Provide a calm, safety-focused environment for residents.
• Support with meal prep, housekeeping, and errands as needed.
