Job summary

Sevita is seeking caregivers to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You’ll assist with daily living, personal care, and community participation, while helping participants reach personal goals and maintain independence.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, six months in human services preferred, and a valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle. Sevita offers full benefits for full-time roles and a supportive supervisory network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs.
• Help participants participate in the community and engage in activities.
• Support development goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
