Job summary

Sevita's Mentor Community Services in Florida is seeking a compassionate caregiver to help individuals with developmental disabilities live well and participate in their communities. You’ll build real relationships, support daily living activities, and work with a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants set and achieve developmental goals (e.g., budgeting, exercise, nutrition).
• Participate in community activities to promote independence and engagement.
• Collaborate with supervisors and care team to ensure high-quality supports.
