Job summary

Sevita's Mentor Community Services division seeks caring caregivers to support individuals with developmental disabilities in community settings. You will help with daily living, personal care, and community participation, building trusting relationships and guiding participants toward their goals.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Provide compassionate, patient care and build meaningful relationships with participants.
