CCARC, Inc. is seeking staff for weekend shifts in multiple residential group homes in New Britain, Berlin, Plainville and surrounding areas.

The role provides direct care to participants with special needs, focusing on quality of life, health, and well-being. Responsibilities include medication administration, daily care, activity coordination, transportation, and documentation, with required training and vaccination.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have CT driver's license and be insurable; vehicle preferred.
• Agency training completion required.
• Willing to be trained in CPR, First Aid, PMT and DDS medication administration.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Experience with Microsoft products, email use and Therap preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

Aufgaben

• Provides and receives respectful verbal and written communications to and from care teams.
• Coordinates health and hygiene-related appointments with families, guardians, DDS and providers.
• Provides essential physical and emotional care including personal care and medications; records vitals.
• Coordinates social activities and shopping; ensures safe transport for participants.
• Handles housekeeping and laundry duties; supports meal and nutrition needs.
• Responds to emergencies and follows procedures for safety.
• Manages and records petty cash and participant money per CCARC policy.
• Maintains universal precautions, OSHA standards and infection control protocols.
• Maintains good attendance and participates in required trainings.
