Job summary

People Creating Success, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional in the San Fernando Valley area to support adults with disabilities in our supported living program. The role offers part-time shifts with a $20.25 per hour rate and a $500 sign-on bonus, plus a $10/month cell phone stipend.

You will assist with daily living skills, follow care plans, and promote healthy activities while documenting progress and collaborating with the team. Weekend availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Compassionate with a person-centered mindset.

• Able to communicate with dignity and respect, even in challenging moments.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to document goal progress with detail.
• CPR/First Aid certification (training provided if needed).
• Weekend availability preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support participants with daily living skills such as cleaning, cooking, budgeting, and light household duties.
• Follow care plans and help participants achieve their personal goals.
• Encourage healthy habits, studies, hobbies, and social activities.
• Assist participants access and participate in community activities.
• Assist with personal care such as medication support, hygiene and bathing (lifting/transferring may be required).
• Collaborate on Person-Centered Care planning with participant, staff and management.
• Document shift and communication logs.
