Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This full-time role offers weekend shifts and a schedule of 1:30p-8p Monday through Thursday, with 11a-7p every other weekend.

A valid driver’s license is required and pay is $17 hourly. As a caregiver you’ll assist with personal hygiene, support individuals with developmental goals, and help them participate in daily community activities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months in intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health preferred.
• License: Valid driver’s license and access to insured vehicle.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, teamwork, time-management.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants to achieve developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Help participants engage in community activities and social participation.
• Build real relationships with individuals you serve.
