Job summary

Katherine Luther Residential Health Care & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dietary Aide who will follow established dietary procedures and safety regulations, maintain a clean and safe kitchen and dining area, and ensure equipment and supplies are kept in good working order.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
• Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.

Responsibilities

• Follow established dietary procedures and ensure compliance with policies.
• Follow safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain the department in a clean and safe manner; ensure equipment and supplies are maintained.
• Report hazardous conditions/equipment to the Director of Food Services immediately.
• Report all accidents/incidents as established by department policies.
• Complete job duties according to the pattern of management (provided at orientation).
• Attend and participate in mandatory in-service programs.
• Adhere to LCCN dress code and appropriate professional attire.
• May be required to lift, push, pull, and move equipment or supplies in excess of 50 lbs.
• Assist in the evacuation of residents.
